NUVO SIMPLESE NOW OFFERS RS-232 COMMUNICATON FOR HOME AUTOMATION INTEGRATION
NuVo is pleased to announce the introduction of a newly added feature to its powerful, entry-level Simplese Generation D amplification system. This four source, four zone, 30 watts per zone, system now has bi-directional communication capability for home automaton integration making it the most powerful system of its kind at a retail price point of $999.
This arms integrators with even more solutions to win sales in a broader builder market. MDU’s (Multiple Dwelling Units), as one example, are becoming a high demand home solution for the aging Baby Boomer generation. Simplese, with its 30 watts of high fidelity output, is perfectly equipped to run in the smaller number of rooms of these MDU formats, but provides the sound quality that their upscale residents require. It answers the call for both “simple to install” and “simple to use” in these high production, time critical environments, but also provides for easy integration into higher end home control systems. “It’s the perfect solution for me in the Florida condo market. Simplese with RS-232 offers the same easy-to-use ASCII text protocol as the rest of the family of NuVo Whole Home Audio Systems. The protocol is available for download at www.nuvotechnologies.com/prozone. The RS-232 port is a stereo mini input using a DB9 to 3.5mm adaptor cable.
