CEDIA RECOGNIZES NUVO TECHNOLOGIES FOR INNOVATIVE 3-IN-1 AM/FM TUNER
October 2, 2002, CINCINNATI, OH - NUVO Technologies, the respected designer and manufacturer of automated home audio distribution products, was recognized by the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) at it’s Annual EXPO 2002 as a finalist in the category of Best Audio Product for the recently introduced T-3 3-in-1 AM/FM tuner. The T-3 was nominated as a finalist for Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards - Best Audio Product. CEDIA honors participants at its annual EXPO for excellence in the custom electronics design and installation industry.
"We are thrilled to be considered one of the best audio products of the show. Our customers who have received our new T-3 are very happy with the complete package approach of the unit and it’s compatibility with all distributed audio systems," responded David Rodarte, President of NUVO Technologies.
NUVO’s T-3 3-IN-1 AM/FM Tuner brings revolutionary features and flexibility to the world of distributed audio systems. Three independent AM/FM tuners are offered in one convenient and affordable package, allowing three independent radio stations to be simultaneously enjoyed in multiple areas of a home.
Each tuner in the NUVO 3-IN-1 (NV-T3) has its own unique infrared (IR) code to provide complete control from the convenient, hand-held remote control NV-RC1). It’s simple to choose preset stations, switch from AM to FM, mute a specific tuner, and more - all with one NUVO remote control. Even if the user isn’t in visual range of the tuner, such as in another room, it remains easy to control its functions when used as part of a multi-room system. For example, the RC1 features separate command buttons to turn each tuner ON or OFF and to select AM or FM bands - no guesswork is involved. The RC1 can also "teach" any Universal Learning Remote to control the NUVO 3-IN-1.
The three tuners each have an attractive LCD display to indicate selected stations. Twenty presets may be programmed in each tuner for a total of 60 favorite channels. The suggested retail price of the NUVO 3-IN-1 is $895.00.
“The NUVO revolution is fully evident in the 3-IN-1 model,” said Steve Horton, Product Manager for NUVO. “We are committed to providing installers with innovative audio products that are focused on their needs and make their jobs easier. We believe that the innovative features and ease-of-installation of our NUVO products do just that.”
