NuVo Technologies’ Grand Concerto System Recognized for Innovation
August 18, 2006, Hebron, KY—NuVo Technologies’ new Grand Concerto Audio Distribution System has been honored as a 2006 EH Publishing Product of the Year. This is the fourth straight year that a NuVo product has received this distinguished award. The Grand Concerto is the next generation in affordable and complete home audio distribution and control. The six-source, eight-zone Grand Concerto features the Control Pad interface, which promises to be the coolest and most innovative keypad for home audio control the CI industry has seen. The Control Pad utilizes a new high contrast OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display that allows up to eight lines of scrolling text for easy browsing and audio selection, as well as easy access to menu selections. Illuminated capacitive touch icons that provide an incredibly responsive interaction without the use of conventional tactile buttons implement the control. The display and capacitive touch control reside under a single piece of optical quality polycarbonate giving the Control Pad a wonderfully elegant low profile appearance.
The Grand Concerto System will debut at the 2006 CEDIA Show in Denver with its initial shipment to installers occurring in October.
