NUVO TECHNOLOGIES ADDS SUPPORT FOR SPANISH, FRENCH AND GERMAN TO ITS GRAND CONCERTO AND ESSENTIA E6G WHOLE-HOME AUDIO SYSTEMS
New functionality will expand the appeal of NuVo systems internationally as well as in the U.S. Support for additional languages is on the way.
Orlando, FL – March 13-15, 2008 – EHX Expo – Booth #512 – NuVo
Technologies announced that it will add Spanish, French and German language
support to its flagship NuVoNet-based whole-home audio systems, Grand
Concerto and Essentia E6G. With some simple programming from the installer,
users of both systems will be able to choose menu options in English,
Spanish, French or German at their control pad interfaces.
“Music is truly the universal language, and we’d like to bring it to as many
of the world’s homeowners as we can,” said David Rodarte, president and
chief operating officer of NuVo Technologies. “By enabling our dealers and
users to interact with our whole-home audio systems in their vernacular,
we’ll be able to provide pitch-perfect experiences for more people than ever
before.”
NuVoNet support for Spanish, French and German will be available in the
second quarter. Following this initial rollout, additional language options
will be made available based on feasibility and participation of in-country
distributors. Latin root languages will be the first grouping.
Regional distributors can participate in securing language localization by
assisting in translation of the NuVoNet menu tree of terms in any one of the
following Latin-based languages:
| • Afrikaans | • Albanian | • Breton |
| • Danish | • Dutch | • Estonian |
| • Faroese | • Finnish | • Galician |
| • Icelandic | • Irish | • Italian |
| • Latin | • Luxembourgish | • Norwegian |
| • Occitan | • Portuguese | • Rhaeton-Romanic |
| • Scottish Gaelic | • Swahili | • Swedish |
| • Walloon | • Welsh |
NuVo’s software development team also will begin to prepare additional language groups that possess their own set of characters, such as Asian and Arabic.
Dealers interested in particular languages are encouraged to inquire with their local NuVo distributors.
